I volunteer my time to buy Bears to give to children in the hospital. I’m from Chicago, Illinois and I will be donating the Bears to Childrens Memorial Hospital which is also in Chicago. I would really love your help to get more bears. This year I will be collecting money to buy bears and in November/December 2010 I will be giving the bears to the children. Perfect time! It’s the Month of giving!

Q:Why are you doing this?
SASHA: Because It’s the right thing to do! I have the time and I have the ambition!

Q: Why did you pick Childrens Memorial Hospital?
SASHA: Childrens Memorial Hospital is a hospital that is close to my heart. A long time ago my parents came to this county with hopes and dreams that my family would be safe. My parents and brothers move to Chicago from the Middle East because my brother needed heart surgery and the doctors at Childrens Memorial Hospital saved my brother’s life. I think it’s the perfect place to donate!

Q: How can (WE OR I) help???
SASHA: If you are younger than 18 ask your parents to help you get started. I will be posting more an more each month about my trip to get more bears! You can help by donating money(about $10-$20) to give a bear and (about $1.00-$2.00) to get a bracelet. I will adding a donate button on my website soon… (www.sashaleekay.com)

Q: What do I get for donating?
SASHA: If you donate (about $15-$20) to give a bear; you will get a free bracelet in the mail. Not only did you get that free bracelet you get the feeling of happiness that you helped someone in need. I think thats the best prize!

Q: Sasha, Have you ever done this Bear Your Love thing before?
SASHA: Yes, I have with my sister! That’s why I’m doing this again because of the feeling I got from giving the bears to the children. This year I will be taking my camera to bring everyone along with me.
